Have you always wanted to paint in watercolor but didn’t know where to start? Watercolor 101 is the workshop for you. Sandy Ludwig will demonstrate basic steps in mixing and blending colors, applying washes, and creating beautiful edges. Participants will be introduced to useful strategies in design that will enhance your watercolor painting.
Sandy Ludwig is an artist and a seasoned instructor. She taught Art for over 30 years and retired from teaching at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. Her passion is to continue sharing her talents with students of all ages. Her paintings and drawings have been exhibited throughout Western New York and are in numerous collections. Sandy’s artwork is often inspired by her travels working plein air. She also captures images with her camera and works from these photographs back in her studio.
