Transitional Wearables: Silk painted scarves

All supplies are included in the workshop fee except watercolor brushes.

Inspired by Charles E. Burchfield's transitional brushstrokes and fall colors in the painting Spring Rain in the Woods, participants will design and hand-paint a scarf.  All you need to bring is your creativity and watercolor brushes, the rest is provided.

Deb Meier is a retired art educator who has transitioned into the role of a watercolor artist.  Although she is commonly known for working in transparent watercolor in a variety of subject matter, it's not uncommon to find her painting with hi-flow acrylics, inks, fabric painting, and even resin pours.  Deb works behind the scenes for River Art Gallery, Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society, and the Williamsville Art Society.  Her small parrot inspires much of her artwork.

Bring watercolor brushes, all other supplies are included in the workshop fee
